We noticed that the Callback Free widget is gaining popularity not only in Russia, but also in the CIS and even beyond these territories. Earlier, we implemented universal country masks. But for some users, this option was not obvious, especially when the user is on a site that is aimed at visitors from different countries, but the user does not know about it. Therefore, we decided to improve our widget.
Now, when a user lands on a website with installed the Callback Free widget, the widget automatically detects the user’s country based on his IP-address and explicitly notifies the user about this using a flag near the field for entering a phone number.
The user can change the country, there are 2 ways for this:
The first way is to click on the flag, in which case the user will have access to a list of countries and when the needed country is selected, the mask for entering the phone number will automatically change.
The second way is to delete the first digits of the phone number which automatically substituted depending on the IP-address and start entering the phone number, according to the rules for the number registration in the country.
The widget has been completely redesigned. On some websites, there were conflicts between the widget and the styles set on the site, because of this, the appearance of the widget in some cases could change. We made the widget completely isolated, which allowed us to be sure that it will look the same on any website.
Also, we have made an English-language version of the website: callback-free.com and added the possibility to change the interface language in your account.
